Gators are everywhere. My apartment complex in north Orlando had a small pond behind the pool had a gator in it, ponds near the airport have gators, there's a giant lake infested with gators called lake Jessup. My dad, brother, and fiancé all go gator hunting when it's the season. It's like sharks at the beaches, theirs alot of them but just normal after awhile. Media and stupid tourists are to blame for getting bit not knowing any better not the actual animal being aggressive. Germans apparently taste good

    Germans taste good...?

This truck stop sells gator heads from the farms. Thinking about getting a small one for the kids, I know they would love it. They're like 10 bucks.

theyre the most common to get bit by both gator and shark. You hear it in the news. Tourism dominated area locals laugh at tourists doing stupid stuff. I've went jet skiing in brown murky water with gators on the banks on the St. John river with no problem and swam in the water at the beach all my life and never been bit. Tourists come, first timers bam get bit. Never had gator though, heard its like steak, offered in many forms like jerky, steak bits, etc. shark is yum

I watched a 4 wheeler eat a Gator last week, big one to and on its side! I saw it, moved into hammer lane. Watched in my mirror as the guy 1/2 mile behind me doesn't move over and looks like he aimed for it. BAM! Of course, knucklehead just keeps driving. It was in KY on I-65. :biggrin_25522:

I will say, I wouldn't mind trying the real gator myself someday.

So it took me forever to get everything organized in the truck again. Looked like a friggen tornado went through the inside of the cab. But i must say the shiny new motor under the hood is really easy to pretrip.

    Bayle and Bigdubber Thank this.
