Why trip plan, that's for suckers! You can just deliver that load a full day early for no reason.

Paper or e-log?

 

I still can. Load I have is due Friday morning 0730. I can deliver about 1400 tomorrow if they'll take it.

 

eLog, it takes a special type of person to pull that off.

 

Sounds like someone forgot to log themselves off duty or in sleeper, and said screw it, didn't edit and drove anyway. That's my immediate thought anyway n

 

Don't the e-logs have an audible warning when you are in violation?

 

Not if you mute it, like I do 99% of the time. There still is red flashy light though, unless you put tape over it.

 

I was only on e-log my last 2 weeks at Roehl, company I am with now uses paper so I'm not real familiar with the new technology.

 

I made it home with 30 mins to spare good thing i know all the backroads home from where the accident was last night.
