My trainer had 7 yrs OTR at roehl started training after his 2nd year I think. I'm 33 he was younger than me and I learned a lot from him and still talk to him a couple times a month. I always thought u needed one year at least to be a trainer at roehl. Thought that's what the poster said at terminals at least. I think fm's should do a week at least in a truck with a driver, no need for cdl just see what goes on would be nice for some to grasp what we do in a daily basis.

You must be kidding. Whether they are hurting for the trainers or not the last time I checked, which was about 20 minutes ago, the name on the door said Roehl. Not Swifty, Werner or Useless Express.

Service plaza MM 100 Eatbound on the OHTP. So my ignition system is sending me signals that something is not right. This was the 2nd day in a row I turn the key and nothing happens. Called Maintenance they noted the clutch switch is probably going bad, which is probably correct. I told my FM I have been lucky so far and truck eventually started. Then it would be fine for the rest of the day. I also told her that I hope it doesn't decide to go out if I am out in BFE. They will be trying to get me turned around and get me to WI to have it looked at. Now my pirateship has this mentality not to breakdown on me while I am on the road and I reminded her of that today to. Lol!

It was fun seeing the county, but I hate pretty much all people so that part wasn't so fun.

Sitting at the Mothership! Gonna be here a while, Bunk heater issues (been COLD the last few nights), 5th wheel issues, check engine light still on, and how many different recalls. Stop by and say hi if you are around.
