I am at the Amherst rest area off I80 in Ohio. Didnt get a load until 11:00am this morning, and I had to head west to get it. Stopped back in Gary to pick up my new Roehl sweatshirt. Nice!

The weather was horrible all the way through Indiana and didnt clear up until I was into Ohio. I thought about shutting it down but I am glad I didnt. Right as I got close to here it started to snow again and the roads were pretty terrible. Hopefully i80 will be o.k. in the morning.

    Stay safe all!!!

I won't accept it and if they insist, I'll find another carrier to drive for.

Sitting at the Flying J in Casper, WY. Was told this load would be accepted early so I arrived at 1015 only to be told that it won't be accepted until 2200. So I guess I'll sit until then.

My preplan pick up is in Rapid City, SD and thankfully I have until 1200 tomorrow to get it. I-25 was nothing but pure ice the last 40 miles into Casper and they're forecasting 40-50mph gusts tonight and throughout the early morning. Therefore, I'm staying put till daybreak.

At the Flying Hook in Russellville, AR. Made my delivery early, thank you Conagra, but now I don't have a pre plan, so not a good sign.

I am at the Petro in Waterloo, NY. I am only three hours from home but the roads started to get icy and I decided to shut it down. I had the hours to get home tonight but why chance it. Now that I get home Saturday I wont have to go back out until Wednesday anyways.

I started this run out in Gary in the snow and it followed me the whole dammed trip so far. I woke up in Amhest, OH this morning to the snow coming down like crazy. It was a near whiteout near Buffalo and I saw no less than 15 cars crashed off the road today.

Near Youngstown, OH I slowed down to like 25 to let an old guy come onto the highway off the ramp. ####### wouldnt merge so I went by him. I saw him in my sideview mirror almost lose it when he did decide to merge o to the highway. His suv went sideways one way and then the other but he saved it thankfully.

One guy went flying past me a bit past Buffalo where there were a multitude of crashes. I saw him about five to ten miles up crashed into the median. This was not a good day to be driving!

Well I stuffed myself at the Iron Skillet again. Now its time for Netflix.

    Stay safe all!!!

Looks like I will be hauling 2 manure spreaders from WI to NY, at least I will be well prepared for the BS in the drivers lounges on the way.

Home. Loaded in Porter, IN, two 20k shotgun coils. I lucked out too, thought they were going to be nearly 6 footers, but they were short and long. I was able to cover them both with 1 steel tarp instead of a lumber. I know you flatbedders will know what I mean and how much of a difference it makes in secure time and work. :). Heading to KY with them for Monday morning. Home till Sunday afternoon.
