At the Pilot in Mitchell, SD which is home to the World's Only Corn Palace. Did we really need one?

Anyway, on my way to Plano, IL for Monday morning delivery. Should have plenty of time to stop in Cedar Rapids, IA for lunch with my sister tomorrow.

 

got home today from northeren frozen wisconsin , flat screen is fired up and watching football . Lots of giants fans (other truckers) talking smack about tomarrows game on the way down. I say its time to put up or shut up ! GO PACKERS !!!

 

Notez...I have seen the corn palace....used to live about 3 hours away...they change it every year..or at least the exterior design.....its nothing special on the inside...

 

at home...going to do army time in a couple days...will be off the road for about 2 weeks...then it will be time to get the diesal back in my blood...I already miss my truck and the road...(#### its in my blood already).....You guys take care...I will pop in from time to time over the next couple weeks...keep those wheels turning, and the rubber on the road...

 

Quick question, to somone out there with Roehl, What job title does Ray Gabriel have? My Terminal manager used to work with him at SNI and was wondering, I cant for the life of me remember just remember him on voicemail LOL

In Cedar Rapids, IA for the night. Got here at 1230 today and happy that I had lots of time to kill since my oldest sister lives here. Had a nice home cooked meal with her and the family. I only get to see her a couple times a year.

 

Finishing up my 10 at the dropyard on Dayton. Heading to Grove City, OH for a drop and hook. Then it is off to the Roehl truck stop in Gary, where I am already planning on spending at least 2 days waiting to get my windshield looked at.

 

Hey......actually got my truck fixed in Gary yesterday, of course I did the work myself, but it was in the Gary yard.

 

Sitting at the TA in Rogers, MN. was close enough to home that the wife and daughter came up for dinner.
