TA I-94 WI exit 4. Not the greatest day today; weather in St. Paul was craptastic this morning, got to scrape the snow/ice off the flatbed trailer with one of the mudflaps from the truck. Drove down to Blue Earth, MN for a pickup, where my passenger-side equipment box on the truck decided to come open and lose one of my steel tarps. I noticed it about five miles from the shipper when I stopped to recheck the load, and retraced the route twice but it was nowhere to be found...I'm guessing someone must have picked it up. I hate this truck; everything about it is always one step away from doom. It's Fri night so gonna go inside and gorge myself on the AYCE fish fry in an attempt to drown my sorrows.
Treefork Thanks this. -
I was there a couple of days ago getting fuel and I thought we weren't going to get out. I go around that corner and a Celedon is just sitting there even with the car entrance. The truck in front of me couldn't get out because a tanker already commited to turn and was blocking the way. Now I don't know what that Celedon Driver did but all I could see was smoke coming from the axles of the trailer. It looked like they somehow locked the brakes up because everytime they tried to move the trailer wasn't moving. After a few minutes of waiting they eventually got it moving.

At the J in Beaverdam, OH. So I already had this pre plan before I delivered this morning. So when I sent in the confirmation with delivery at 0700 tomorrow in Hebron, KY FM says no can do. It has to be delivered today. We are going to try and find another Driver to finish it. I probably would have made it to the Dayton dropyard if GP in Milan would have the load ready when I showed up at 1200. I guess they couldn't find a Driver because I am delivering it tomorrow morning. Had a pre plan to pick up in every van Drivers place, Middletown OH going to Pacific, MO. I didn't have the hours to make the delivery on Sunday at 1600 so they gave me another load. I will be picking up in Middletown I guess after midnight on the 21st and deliver in Carol Stream, IL at 0230 on the 22nd. 0230?

lol, I know who got your load and whos load you got. 1 guess.

Strap all your tarps to the deck of the trailer until you get a new truck. Best way to keep that from happening. You're not the first and won't be the last to have that happen.

At the Pilot in Clear Lake, IA. Short run to park in Shakopee in the morning, don't deliver until 0700 Monday morning. Layover Pay while sitting at home, gotta love it!
Except, I would rather be getting miles and more pay!
