I talked with a driver the day before yesterday who had been doing exactly that.

Yeah, those are the jack wads that screwed everyone else. Feels like boot camp, where one guy effs up, but the whole platoon gets punished.

I was also unimpressed with calling for an edit. when adding post trip note I apparently changed my on duty to drive and didn't catch it. long story short, they would not change it. its BS is what it is, if some drivers are causing problems with it then punish THEM not those of us who do it right and approve our logs daily.

    rant over......

at home! stay safe my brothers n sisters! :biggrin_25525:

Agree, still don't understand why they couldn't just require people to e-sign/approve their logs each day. Problem solved. I suspect the capability for this exists at least on the TruckPC units because it would start to nag you to approve, if you had log entries that were over 24 hours old.

Wow they took away editing logs? That's ridiculous! I guess to many people not knowing how to properly do it kept messing things up.

I used to forget to go to sleeper or off duty and I'd stay on duty for my 10. Simple 5 second fix in the AM. Now not so much I guess :/

Delivered to Appleton WI 12 rolls got in right away and out of there in record time. Came to term scanned that trip in and did laundry. Trl had issues so dropped it and grabbed another for a load going to IA. Hopefully sets me up for the wkend. A driver next to me has the cameras instead of fender mirrors on his prostar. Also has wheel covers in black for all the drives. Looks pretty sharp.

My cousins company does that. You just approve at end of day. I just get annoyed that i cant fix small things. Stayed on duty today 25 minutes fuel and post trip. Took 10, didn't bother calling in but I've wasted a bunch of minutes like that lately.

Oh I'm at the flying hook north of Houston, in New Caney. Drop in Houston in the am then over to Beaumont for a load to Belvidere, IL for Monday.

Been at Rapid city SD all afternoon cant go to the shipper till 6 am tomorrow. I am 10 minutes away stupid 7 am appointment and cant pick up a day early. I got here about 230 ish. But if all goes well i should be able to make it back home with this load tomorrow. 597 miles to home should be totally doable. Unless My FM decides to relay it off of me in saint paul that might put a kink in my plan.

I like being home every weekend but sometimes he gets crazy idea on loads. Lately haven't been making it home till saturday afternoon. gives me just enough time to get a reset in for monday start. which is fine but like getting home friday evenings.

Anyone on here a 14/7 driver. I'm thinking about switching but I need to know if it'll pay the bills. Do you get enough miles 14/7ers?

I'm still in Oregon. I guess the not being able to edit the logs finally started working on my truck pc. Now I have to sit here while I log a pretrip I already did. I'm really starting to miss paper logs.
