Roehl Driver Check In

At the Loves in Oak Creek, WI. So I drove last night to relay one of the "Hot" loads here. Well everybody know Oak Creek has the cream of the crop when it comes to mts. Of course the one I hook up to had a flat. So here I sit waiting for the repair to get done. I am so ready for bed.

 

Get a preplan found out its for a train yard in KC. Did unloaded call, never got load assignment. No numbers nothing. Told go to yard. I said I'm going to need a trailer number something. Park outside yard, got nothing, wait 10 ask again, nothing. Say screw it, try to go in, get kicked out, no trailer number. Ask again what's going on. No response. It's only going 30 miles for 1500 appt. I sent I am not going to take a service failure on this. Still nothing. WTF? I'm am very close to just going to nearest ruck stop and parking.

 

I unloaded my containers this morning that got sent running local for a few shingle loads before i got to get home. Knew i should of shut down earlier to burn more hours on the way up so they couldn't do that.

But ah well home now, Was nice meeting you finally.

 

Flyin jay, granite city il, been here twice, pulled thru next to a roehller with a 07 columbia and parked..cool dude. Went delivered an hour later and came rite back to same spot lol. Theres another roehl here now. Headed to wisc 2moro and ind sunday. Drove by budweiser downtown st louis this morning..cool joint.

 

Thats one way to get rid of those nasty old curtainsides...

Got my launch. Sunday running around PA then picking up in Jersey headed to Wisconsin.

 

So ended up dropping trailer at cons. Some messed up stuff with efs check for lumper fee. Plus they said 8-9 hours to unload it. So bobtail at Petro xt 28 I-70 MO. Have to back in the morning.

 

ROETG then railyard early for relay from TX to New Jersey over the weekend.
