Was talking to a few drivers and apparently bad drivers and poor fuel mpg drivers are getting cameras.

Makes me glad i really started working on my fuel mpg.

FM called me today to discuss mpg on '07 Volvo - 6.2, but then saw the new Cascadia is averaging 8 for the first ten days I've had it and everything was suddenly ok.

Fuel is definitely a hot topic right now. Whenever we do a back and goal, truck gets shut down, even if it's just a walk around.

Who wants to take bets on the results of these mpg tests being a lower governed speed like 60mph?

60 mph? I wonder how many Drivers they would lose if they did that. I know this one would be packing it up. All those companies that blow my doors off now would start blowing my mirrors off along with the doors. Lol!

Any slower or camera and I'm gone. I'm tempted to lease on just so I can get more mph. Camera. That's just BS. I'd drive naked till they fired me hahhahaha.

Now with warmer weather I'm up close to 8 myself. Autostart not kicking on all the time. I was actually asked about an 11% idle, it's not like I'm up in the seat playing with the throttle all night. I thought the truck determined when it started to stay warm, recharge. I never messed with it.

Hammond LA petro. 4 stops and a con hon load. 3 in Baton Rouge and 1 plus final in harahan la. Only had directions for 2 which is ok. Only time I had 13k on the steers in a prostar was with a heavy loaded reefer trl. But I was in WI so it was ok. Other than that never have been and I always set my brakes when I weigh. Why would it matter or throw it off its sitting still on the scale. My mpgs are fine 7.37 so far this month and this light load the last 5 before it we're 42k plus all in mountains. Close quarters ok Gary's training yard probably not near as tight as the places they've sent me and other drivers as well. Improve the mpgs then turn the trucks up, routes that stay on the interstate instead of the mentality of shortest route through 10 small towns with a billion lights on top of mountain grades etc. why flatbed bc they pull heavier loads, oversize, over deminsion with a flattop cab. My truck once I pass 65 mph back to 63 mph boost doesn't kick in til 61 mph to where it starts to pick up again. An O/O van driver with a prostar with heavy and light load mix says he runs 65 mph all the time, never cruise and gets better mpgs than when he was a company driver. Worst part is the have bonehead corporate douches that don't know how to start a truck much less operate one telling us statistically how it's supposed to work. If you do this then technically it should work bs not knowing your 79k plus up in the mountains all week. Camera or slower governed speed then that'll be final straw for me as well. Accidents ok I understand as well as others but really get real. Boils down to corporate greed. Werner and USX governed at 65 mph 10 times fleet our size. The size roehl wants to achieve probably starting they're getting over their heads training mill putting newer drivers in trucks buying more trls start to nit pick the small stuff to save a buck or two. Which is great they can as well do want they want I just won't be here to get them to that point. On a side note one of my micro managers fm quit out of the blue so hooray for that
