I've been with Roehl for two years and kept hearing about guys driving around in "the caves". Well, I finally got to see what they were talking about. Yesterday I made a delivery in Independence, MO, and the entire place was located underground in what was described as a cave. It was a network of tunnels dug into the rocks, and it made for a pretty interesting delivery. Had to back into a spot that would have probably been kind of stressful if I was a newbie, so for that reason I'm glad it took this long to do this run. Anyway, it was cool to see what this place was like. Now I have another "war story" to tell my non-driver friends and family members.

Currently, I'm cooling my heels for the day doing a 34 hour reset near Olathe, KS.

Nice one DD. Does that Pete have the 70" sleeper on it or the 63"? Whatever it is, it sure looks good.

Also, how is the noise level in that truck compared to what you drove here at Roehl? Are those trucks pretty loud inside, or about the same?

It's the 63" stand up sleeper.

It's quieter when cruising than my prostar was. I'm thinking its because part of the engine isn't under the dash, it's set in the engine bay further up so it's honestly not really loud. Now when I roll the windows down and you hear they turbos spool and that waste gate let go when I'm going through the gears, yeah, that's awesome lol

    It is, I love it!

265" wheelbase and it actually backs really good, you just gotta anticipate your turns and think ahead.
