ha ha what a old thread , funny thing is nothing has changed. the old IH 9400's
are still on the road as roehl is expanding the fleet. Service at gary is a frustrating
experiance and the empty trailers that are there are red taged. Yet i remain optimistic as we are getting some much needed new van trailers. the new truck wash is nice.

How many times a year do you wash your truck in said truck wash's?

In Gary, I've gone through with mine at least 4 times now. Once in Marshfield as well, only because I get to Gary more altho I live closer to Marshfield.

Personally I think the wash is a joke. Doesn't do squat, better off just taking a pressure washer to the truck. And for what Roehl paid for it, pathetic, try taking care of the drivers first.

I wouldn't give them $5 to use it considering how sad of a job it does. I know for mine it doesn't even touch the windshield, just sprays it with a little water.

It costs a bit more, but I'll go to Blue Beacon before I'll use Roehl's wash again. It looks a lot better when they're done.

Hey Redhawk. So you are with Roehl now. I have started the 'student' process and have read as much as I can find about them. I did read from a Roehl site they have APU's to minimize idling. Are you saying (above) they do not have APU's and don't let you idle?

Thank you..... Look forward to hearing your experience!

They have APUs on alot of the trucks. If you get a truck that does not have one they encourage you to idle as little as possible. They have goals set out for trucks with and without apus.

if you have sleep apnea and have a cpap machine you are pretty much guaranteed to get a apu, a friend of mine drives for roehl and as soon as he got a cpap machine they put a apu on his trk. but if the trk is one of the older internationals with 750k on it your out of luck !!
