I'm pretty sure you won't be picking up a load like this, the shipper left early yesterday and I think they're closed today. In fact, they were nice enough to park my trailer outside the gate. Got a load of plate steel?

Nah, lumber headed for Menard's. I don't drop until Monday though. I get to spend the night in a bunk room in Gary while my truck is PM'd and turned down :biggrin_25520:

Up until 3 weeks ago I was on National, and averaging about the same - 2000 to 2200 miles a week. I stayed out 25 days at a time.

I figured that being national wasn't worth it, so I switched to 7-4, 7-3 and am now averaging a little more - around 2500 miles per week. I'll crunch the numbers in a little bit.

Totals after 3 months (only EVOIII, not I and II, and not this month):

    67 days worked
    46 loads

    23102 miles paid
    24824 miles driven

345 miles paid per day average ($103.50 per day)
370 miles driven per day average
502 miles paid per load average

$6930 gross paid for 3 months
    $2310 per month gross average

$27700 estimated gross per year (please note: this may change)

I actually expect to make a little less than this because I switched to 7-4, 7-3, and do not expect to make 8000 miles per month like I was in the national fleet. However, staying out 25 days at a time was not healthy for my marriage. I'm not willing to give that up. After 4 months now, I have a much better idea of what type of job and company I need.

I would also like to say thanks to everyone for your comments.

I'll have to gather July's, but since August 1st I've run 3222. I've been on a van the whole time though.
