My tarp jobs would probably give them a coronary. I average 9-11 stops a day and don't have time to keep it pretty. Don't even tarp at all unless it is raining or I don't want to be seen with it.

Hey USMC first off Semper Fi! Didn't see you mention Maverick but you stated you did lots of research? Take it your not in their hiring area?
-
thanks rda semper fi and yeah maverick doesnt recruit up here im just outside of the area

As a company, Roehl was very good to me for the 2 years I was with them. I didn't run flats, but the company culture was pretty decent and they treated me well.

I would look at Roehl and Melton. If you're married, Melton would be good because of the healthcare benefits. Melton has APU's also which means you have heat, a/c, electrical power, refrigerator power, etc. while you're shut down on breaks. Many states and also companies don't allow idling.

Guys once again thanks for the input. Now china how does Melton pay compared to the others because TMC has their percentage pay that helps out alot. Also i have no family as in wife and kids. And melton being out of the south do they recruit all the way up north?

Research who one the most freight in your area, easier to get home and get out.
And Roehl is also anal about load securement, routes and designated fuel stops. Most large companies are.
And don't rule out the companies in your area because you are new, research them and talk to them. They just might like your background. -
Ladr the freight between the two is almost identical by my area. I appreciate your insight on this and anything else you happen to know please share
