If you are considering PGT, here is a thread you should check out:
[h=1]My journey with PGT begins today[/h]I graduated CDL school about a year ago. I went with Roehl out of school. I think they are a good company to get started with. I did seem to sit more than I wanted to, especially on weekends. If they did not get me a long run for the weekend, I was sitting at a truck stop all weekend. Nature of the beast I guess.
I had to leave and come off the road due to family illness, so I was not with them long enough to give a real good overview.
I am now ready to get back out there and Roehl has offered me a job back. My plan was to return, but I am also looking very seriously at PGT now. After reading that entire thread and emailing the OP personally several times, I believe that PGT offers the best ability to make good money and still have consistent home time. According to the OP of that thread, the money is way better for a first year driver.
