Update, I was on my 4th solo load going from Wisconsin to Ohio, 16th day, and we stopped at the Gary terminal for a 10 hour break. We we're about to start my 17th day and we got a message saying to drop me off at Gary for my Driver's skills evaluation(DSE). Today, I take my DSE at 9:30and will get my truck. I will post an update on my DSE later today, wish me luck.

    DakotaJoe and SHOJim Thank this.

And just think you made probably a whopping $10 dealing with that traffic for 2 1/2 hours. Companies should increase cpm rates when routed through cities. I thought you can't go through Chicago though because it's off the national network unless you got a delivery with special permit? I'm a newbie so correct me if I'm wrong.

So the other day, I had my DSE. I passed and got my truck. It's a 2016 Freightliner. The DSE is simple. I pretty much just had to do a 45° back, and go for a drive. No issues there.
I'm now on the road solo, working on my second load.

I hope all this was informative, and was put to good use. Any questions about anything mentioned or not mentioned here, don't hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to provide an answer.

    Thanks for reading!

Yeah I was just curious if you personally do the Roehl 45. I think thats an awesome way to setup. We were only shown it twice and the first time I was shown the instructor told me to hard right and don't touch the steering wheel and it basically walked itself right in with minor adjustments.
