These past 7 days have been awesome. I did not get a great deal of driving time in trucking school and Roehl provided us with 2 to 3 hours of driving each day, which I desperately needed to build on my skills. The orientation only had a total of 5 guys in it so we all got ample time. They set each one of us up for success. To anyone who is looking for a company that has an awesome training program this may be the company for you.

When u get assigned a trainer and go out, you'll need 6 hrs of driving a day in order to get orientation pay while out with a trainer. I went out with my trainer for 2 weeks, we got along great and he was 14/ 7 out of ellenwood. I could've tested out in marshfield but it was a Friday evening, I would've have to wait til Monday to test out. So I stayed with him and tested out in ellenhood. He drove a couple hours to start off each day the first 2 days then I drove everyday all day from then on.

Well if he was in orientation then if u can't downshift it can cause a accident. If it happened several times to where he was consistantly unsafe after the instructor explaining how to down shift again and again then yes I believe after a couple times of near misses or accident situations they'd be impatient. Just my speculation probably more to the story. The orientation van trucks have 30,000 lbs they're not empty or have pallets like my cdl school. But I Guy in my class couldn't down shift, barely shift, sort of backed in his own way, passed only to fail with his trainer. LOL.

I am now resting at home waiting for my trainer to come through Vegas next week. I am one of the lucky ones as some had to drive or fly to other locations, but those trips are covered by the company.

They were strict yet easy going. There is a time to have fun and a time to shut it and listen. They are not looking to send anyone home.
