I am currently interested in driving for Roehl. I was told by a recuriter they offer 7 days on 7 off and starting pay for that was about 31k a year. Has anyone done this or heard of this. Is this promised and then not delivered? Roehl seems to be the best company I have found to this date.I have a good marriage and I have to keep mama happy (for everyone married you understand) so I need the most reliable home time I can get. I am new to this industry and I will be starting school soon. Thanks for any information. God Bless!!![]()

Another thing about the 7/7 and 7-4/7-3 is that they require u to live within 100 miles of a terminal or drop yard and it is the luck of the draw kind of so to speak as there needs to be 2 drivers ( for 7/7 ) and 3 drivers (for 7/4-7/3) that are within the same 100 mile radius
.
I never did those hometime runs, but they do get you home when you are supposed to, however, you better plan on staying out for at least 2 weeks, and on top of that, if you are just starting out I think you have to wait 6 months before that hometime stuff is offered-could be wrong about that though.

Just a quick FYI - Some experienced drivers need to go through a short training stint to verify skills. It depends, to some degree what type of experience you have. If you have OTR experience and have used a qualcomm or similar device - you can probably just attend orientation and then launch into a truck.
