That was the case 4 years ago when I was there. Over the last couple of days, I've been checking these forums to see how Roehl was doing since I recently recommended them to a new driver as a decent company to start with. On another thread, there were A few drivers complaining about getting less than 2000 miles as standard otr 11/3. When I was there in 2010, the 11/3 drivers seemed to average 2300-2500 Miles a week, and the 7/7's were around 3,000. The only time I ran it, they shot me out to Nebraska from Gary, IN, then sent me to Georgia, then to Missouri, then back to Gary. This seemed to be pretty typical for what most 7/7 drivers did. I hope for their sake, they are still getting those miles. Roehl paid $50 for going into Canada, which I seem to do a lot of. $20-$40 for short hauls, like $20 for extra stops, they also have safety bonuses.

Thought I would bump this thread back up and see if anyone knows how the miles and pay are for any Roehl drivers doing the 7/7 or 7/4 7/3 out of the terminal near Atlanta.
Rebelj1022 and zilla916 Thank this. -
Me too I am looking at doing that as well

Stay out longer and you get better runs/miles.

Yes I have since decided to go through training on my own through a local college next month and go from there on a national fleet somewhere..just dont think 7/7 would be enough pay right now..going to just bite the bullet and go OTR, Roehl is still definitely one of my top picks.

Check on our Southeast Regional. I am a National Reefer (really means E of I35 95% of the time) and have only been in FL and GA 2 or 3 times and that was with van. What is your long-term goal? Get a local gig, start your own authority, etc.? That should affect what fleet you would want.
-
I am now thinking of going national and then maybe work into a regional position later on. I may want to get into being an owner operator after a couple of years of learning what I am doing, will see how it goes..I start school next week.

So what fleets are running out to Phoenix or Denver?

I know Navajo is based out of Denver. They are in my top 5 list for starting companies. Once i get some experience i am sure my options and pay will expand.
