Best of luck man, start a new thread for that other loser company you go to. Wherever you go it wont be as good as mine. Like I got a call from my company during my vacation to gather up 3400 bucks to get a trailer out of impound. Lesson learned, don't tell anyone where you are going on vacation.

I am doing the same rotation that I did when I started reefer...got a preplan to pick up in lebanon tomorrow and relay to Gary by the 7th @ 1145....485 miles...and they don't think I can do it in a day...funny thing is my P/U isn't til 2 PM tomorrow...but my current load delivers @06 am tomorrow...talk about sitting...but its the nature of the beast...

When I ran reefer I did a lot of sitting because it was all live loads and unloads. I don't know about Roehl, but that's how it was at CRE.

Roehl has it seems nothing but lives on both ends in Reefer (unless its a relay)...but thats the nature of the beast...only so much fuel in the tanks on the units so they can't sit for days without attention....

Heres the biggest reason I am leaving....I had another 1600 mile week last week....my miles were starting to fall on the van side as well...but the reefer side nose dived quick...they have enough reefer freight...they just don't know how to plan reefer freight...its a different animal than van or flat...it can't sit for the most part.....and its mostly JIT...and they give you so much time on these loads its crazy....
The company I am going to pays percentage...(advantage me)...so it doesn't matter if I only get 1600 miles in a week just as long as i get good paying loads....also pay detention...oh and they don't handhold and babysit...

Dedicated has been the same way with miles lately. That and the other reasons you stated is also why I feel I need to move onward.
