Canadians are a lot better than Americans and so is there government...Too bad Customs has to be soo strict. NO BANNANAS!!! I don't mind going there every so often but not 3 times in one week like I did a couple months ago. One of the main reasons I like it I guess is it gives me an excuse to shut my cell phone off. Nice to have some piece and quite sometimes.

I will say that US Customs aren't so bad, at least on Automotive loads. Now that I am through there everyday I've had the pleasure of meeting a few decent customs officers. There are a few not so decent too. I only travel in / out through the same Fort Erie/Buffalo crossing so they are as used to me as I am to them.

starting the reefer fleet today....got lost in the switch of the fleets...waiting on a trailer and a load...we will see what we get...(suspect bobtailing to the mothership to pickup both since we have an assload of Reefers there...but we will see)
-
Good luck! Hope you don't have to take a freakin drug test.

alright...I was right I had to go to the mothership to pick up a relay...I actually met the relay at the fuel Island but I wanted to wash the mud off my truck from the week prior and the trailer was going to the shop anyway for a PM and alignment..so I had time....
its a nice 800 mile load to TN...I should get there tomorrow but it doesn't unload til 07 on the 9th...so I have time...and the Cons has overnight parking so I might park there so I don't have to start my day when its time to unload.... -
at the TA in Lavernge TN my cons is 1.4 miles away...I deliver tomorrow @07 then I have to go to lebanon TN to p/u at 11 to take to sterling TN 511 miles away but have 3 days to get it there...so I put in a request to relay in Gary... otherwise I will have crappy miles for the week...my FM needs to tighten up these appointments a bit cause 511 miles ain't nothing for a day...with the trip to lebanon I think its only 560 total miles....easliy done in a day even with loading and fuel...so we will see....
He sent me a QC message to tell him my ETA to gary once loaded...so I guess its a probablility.. -
Alright got my load relayed....all went well today...my follow on load is a short haul from hanover park il to Romeoville IL appt time to load is 0900 and delivery is noon...really?? what a crappy load....I am thinking I have a dud for an FM, decent mile loads...but too much time on them...(maybe hes playing it safe??) meh he goes on vacation tomorrow...I will see what I get.....

Does your FM name start with an E?

I will have to admit MIC that these Reefers are about as quite as a APU. I couldn't believe it. Had to save a load today which happened to be a reefer so I am at the customer right now and the whole time I'm thinking WOW that's quite. And the ride with a reefer is quite a bit different than with a dry van. I don't know how to describe it but better. Don't think I'm sold on it yet...Going to get my Dry Van trailer back tomorrow lol
