Hello Hwgtied, everything is going swell. Im actually on my last night of home time right I launch out in the a.m. ive been home enjoying the family for the last week. I had been on the road since two days after Christmas. Everything other than that has been going great. My miles have been great, my fleet manager is still awesome and my truck is repaired and making me money.

Glad to hear everything is going well for you. Did you want to be on the road for that long of a period before getting home or did you have a problem with them getting you home? Getting ready to apply to them for a pre hire. Starting school in SC on March 18th. Keep the posts coming, like all the updates. Thanks.

Hey, they actually tired to route me home several times during that period until I told my fleet manager that I didn't want to go home until Valentine's Day. They were able to get me home on time even with me shut down for two days in that snow storm in NY. So that made me and of course my girlfriend happy. This time he asked me before I left the home when I want to come back I told home the middle of May. So I really like being out here as long as they are keeping me busy and allowing me to maximize my drive and on duty hours.

Good to hear they work with you. Could you tell me about their pay? As far as what they pay you during orientation week and when you're on the road with the trainer and finally, when you start solo? Do they have regional?
    Thanks

You can get your questions probably quicker in the Roehl thread, as there are a bunch of new guys posting there about what they are going through.

Pay after you get hired is a 600 bonus. 300 of it is paid after you get hired and the other 300 is paid the week after that. Training pay with a driver trainer is 90 dollars a day as long as you drive/work for 6 hours. Reefer starts at .34/mile, dry starts at .32/mile. Not sure about flatbed. Your raises are based on your performance. If you met all the requirement you get a raise I think every 3 months.

Regional is available. The website will tell you if it's available in your area.
