Roehl steer clear

Depending on camera thats not true. On a lynx (drivercam) camera a steady red light simply means there is a vid waiting to upload.

 

My problem is how drivers complain about cameras when they don't actually KNOW how they work. How about go to safety and ask to see them operate and at least see what kind of answer you get. Darn, it might just maybe calm ..your...fears.... When they say sure I'll pull one up now,. Or no we're not allowed to, company policy. For goodness sake stop pointing fingers when you can get an answer or crumb. SMH

 

my cousins husband had alot of experience when roehl fired him during a dispute over time off/vacation time and safety bonus
he stepped into a dumptruck job at an evironmental company and never plans to leave the family home alone again

 

Well it sounds like he is better off and happier. Personally I never had a problem with my safety/fuel bonus.

 

Even with little experience,a clean cdl,will get you opportunities.
Apply at companies,with a terminal,fairly close to home.
Youll eventually find a company paying honest wages.
Dont stay at a company, ripping you.

 

My experiences with dealing with the recruiter at this company when I first started driving was annoying to say the least.

First off I did a phone interview with this nazi like recruiter that consisted of 3 separate phone interviews. Questions questions questions to work for a company that probably is ok maybe but not worth the hassle.

The final straw is when she called me a liar and accused me of falsifying my job application about a previous employer stating that I "made up" that job.

The job in question was a shady fly by night operation where I was selling Comcast cable service door to door. The owner of the company who was shady to say the least doesn't answer his phone obviously. He set up offices in different areas of the country temporarily. The office I worked out of closed shortly after I left the company so I had no information about the local office so I referenced his home office in NC. After explaining this she called me a liar and that ended my interest in them.

After I decided to go with Schneider the recruiter called me (our 4th conversation) and was now practically begging for me to start with them. Screw her lol

 

I'm not one that's into retribution (anymore). Fool me once/twice analogy is in 100% effect with me.

If a recruiter is going to straight up call me a liar, that's perfectly fine with me. That's just proof positive that I would never want to do business or even associate with that company again. I don't care enough to try and convince them that they are wrong about me. The exact same thing applies to individual people too
