Just out of curiosity - Do you have a roommate during the 3-week training in Marshfield?
-
I am thinking of getting my CDL through Roehl in a couple years, just wondering what are the classes like and how big are the classes. Are the class numbers pretty small??
-
no you do not have any roomates and the class size when i was there was 9 they have 3 training trucks like to keep it 3 to 1 that is 3 students to 1 trainer
-
Thanks for the response swipernoswiping. I was wondering the same questions as I will be starting with them very shortly.
-
Do you have internet access while training with Roehl? Is it in or near the housing?
-
Yes were I stayed they did have internet connection I stayed at a place called the stardust and every motel you stay at there is no more then 8-10 miles away mine happened to only be about 3 miles away

The only thing that bugs me about this is in the future, if you go with another company, they usually ask for your residence for the past 10 years. If you do the temporary residence, are you really going to have to report that you "lived" at that address? If I go to Europe on vacation for a month, I don't have to claim that it was my place of residence. I don't know, I guess I think it's just a hassle, but not a huge one.

Going to start CDL training with Roehl a week from Monday, from what I have read, sound like a good company. Thanks for everyones advise.

Hey Jim, keep us posted on what's going on at Roehl.. Pronounced Rail... If you can let us know how's your training going? Any information would be appreciated. And Good Luck!
