Our training with the school is a little different. Saturday we could only do pre-trip inspections ive got mine down so i don't have to worry about that. Next saturday we can stay as long as we want practicing our backing and straight pull throughs. lol I will ask him hopefully it will put him in a good mood he's been a little cranky lately.

Make sure you stay all day this coming Saturday. When I was there last month the instructor (Claude) had us doing a whole bunch of backing. He'll probably make you do some closed quarters training.

Is Steve the short guy? When I was at the school there was an instuctor trainee in the truck with me and the other student and he was a cool guy then. Also is Jason K still there. He was my instructor and he was great. Really made you comfortable and helped relieved stress. Now Joe was the one that would yell at the students.

that was then this is now, the guy is most likely stressed out from training endless recruits at the driver mill.
Instead of being a true teacher/trainer resorts to yelling
when he dosent get the results wants from his students

Jason is still there. He was one of my instructors along with Dale. Both very good teachers. I had Joe for half a day cause Dale had to leave early that day. Joe never yelled at me. Just sat back and told me where to go with the truck. The student in the truck with me though was another story. Joe had to raise his voice a few times at him cause this guys head was somewhere else every time he got behind the wheel.

Just got home from my best outing yet, had to reset my 70 after 6 days. Almost had to reset a second time before my 11 days were up. Ran about 5,700 in 11 days, all out west, Ut. Mn. Ks. an the Dakotas. Only my third time to Salt Lake in my 1 1/4 years. I sure wish I could run out there every outing. I just hope freight holds up during the first quarter, last year I almost starved on the low miles in Jan. and Feb. How is your four legged codriver doing?

I went to Roehl's school in 2008, in fact I just went past the 120,000 mile mark a few months ago so I don't have to reimburse Roehl for my tuition.
