I was yesterday... Left about 2 or so. I passed three student trucks, so I assume one of them was you. I came out of the truck stop, then went thru town. Made the right on Central Ave just after the train passed by... International pulling a tall flatbed load.

Well spent this sunday going over my emergency roadside and mountain grade driving procedures. Practiced my 45 all day on saturday, feeling pretty confident with it. Just waiting to get the test over tuesday and put it behind me lol. So how has the freight been out there? Instructors are saying that I wont get out till after new years, but Im not really complaining. It will be nice to get a week off. Ill make sure to let you all know how I do on the road test.:biggrin_25515:

Yeah, everybody shuts down for Christmas. I just got my first reset while out on the road since the middle of summer.

You have to pay for it. They have a contract with a local hotel. It was about 350$ im pretty sure. Cant exactly remember lol. The hotel is pretty nice though, not all ran down like I was expecting. Even an indoor pool and hot tub lol. The program is not credit based. Also by your name Im assuming your a vet, if so the school is free for vets. Minus the app fees and lodging. Im really happy with the choice. The instructors are great and you spend most of your time in the trucks driving.

Last week I sent in my contract and now waiting for the approval. I might start January 18. Your out-of-pocket expenses are $375 for lodging and $185 for processing and testing fee. I've signed up for the tuition assistance program where Roehl will pay for the tuition after I drive solo 120,000 miles. Otherwise you have to pay the tuition. Other out-of-pocket expenses would be your drivers permit, passport card, food and transportation to the school.

Hope to be in Marshfield Wisconsin mid-January and I do have my long-johns. Burrrr
