It was @passingthru69 's fault. Because he didn't get his truck all shiny before casino time.....

Low pro step. Unless it's a detach. Reg DD is cheaper and lighter. Pretty useless running the spot market. Imo

Not saying they don't have a place. Like landoll's and curtain side vans. I just wouldn't want to run the spot market with them.

funny that comes up: I could use a curtain van pretty good, but need someone to do the pulling of it. & last nite the fella across the street with the 2018 w9 and landoll was telling me I should get one~ tons of hourly work locally & regional. $125 an hour ain't enough for to invest in specialty equipment tho imo.
But I'm agreeing with you: either piece is not something you buy thinking you'll be working for spot market options. not if you know what you're doing, anyway.

I would love to have a landoll just don't have enough steady business for one. 125 is kinda light in your neck of the woods. I would think. That's about what they get at home.

Curtainside is very popular over home.
To the point where you see more of them than anything.

I noticed that. But I guess in the bush it probably comes in very handy. And people out there are just happy to have any truck. Here shippers and drivers can't think outside the box.

We have a group of double drop stretches with fixed necks. The upper deck has fold out guards that weight about 5k pounds. Not something that is practical with an RGN. We just temporarily moved a guard to an RGN trailer (while the fixed neck trailer was being repaired) and had to chain the neck back so the neck support pin would not be damaged. IMG_3026.PNG
