You didn't have a rollover as for the definition of a rollover. Rollover means the tractor also rolled over. So be careful how you describe that. Don't use the word rollover.

I don't know about the big companies and what they require but among the locals snap-rolling a tomato trailer isn't considered any big deal. It's almost a rite of passage.
If he turned over two or three a week they might raise an eyebrow but he's obviously doing a good enough job for them to keep.
And no, I never turned over a tomato trailer. Mostly because I never hauled them.tscottme, truckincali101 and Chinatown Thank this. -

IF IT WERE ME, I'd not mention it unless asked, and if asked your second trailer connection failed and left the road. Mechanical failure. No ticket, so no MVR record. No inspedtion, so no PSP. DAC unlikely. So it's like it didn't happen....... until they contact your company (as they are required to do) and the previous company reports it. Make sure that when that happens your report will match up with your employer. Trailer decoupled, trailer left the road.
Obviously, from what @REO6205 says, there's a bit more to it than that, but you'd have to run into a company that knows this particular quirk in the tomato industry, and that's unlikely.Chinatown Thanks this.
