roof question...ant.

    k...my house if your facing it. on left house next to me is probably 25 feet higher....to my right almost same.....behind house same thing...sides from antenna is 35 ft each side from ant...back wall i would say 60 ft away....

    behind me....if facing house is clear..(playground)....h

    how high is ENOUGH to receive good on cb....just a guess or help.

    antenna sits kinda surrounded except for the front...theres playground...

    You want your antenna up to at least 36 feet,this is the first wavelength and at this height you will talk really well in a radius of about 1000 miles out with good DX,great DX and you can talk much further. It needs to be as far away from anything that could interfere with it,power lines,metal roofs and such. So nothing within 50 feet would work,100 would be better but.....you cant always do that.

    Get an Imax 2000,if you don't have one already These antennas are tall (21 feet) and work better than just about any other vertical antenna made today. ground the hell out of the antenna mounting location and use the best coax you can afford and you will be set!

    youll need you a good SWR meter to get it set up, and an antenna matcher wouldn't be a bad idea
