I know hes doing on the sleeper, BUT
Even if it were a daycab, i think I could be convinced to mount it no matter how janky if it was the difference between sitting and sweating vs having a decent temp in cab -

But it’s your truck. If you want to halfass it by all means don’t let me stop you.Siinman Thanks this. -
Generally I agree, but theres some vehicles that a complete removal and reinstall of new better parts is the ticket. In my old 96 kw, ive had other people do the ac, ive done the ac, and now, I've added an electric unit on the sleeper, if its sunny and 95 out, i have to run both the electric AND the truck ac to make it liveableSiinman and Coolbreezin Thank this. -
Siinman and Diesel Dave Thank this.

Was editting previous post when you quoted.
I dont disagree that having reg ac working right is priority 1, but there are systems that simply cant keep up out there even when "perfect"
(Again, i will cite the older kws, even with the ac box upgrade and everything brand new at once and a proper vac and charge, theyre really not all that great. When i was in a 379, it would freeze me out pretty good, so not sure what his issue is though)Opendeckin Thanks this. -
Siinman Thanks this.
