Cheapest place I found thus far for the Roughneckhttp://www.adventurerv.net/coleman-...air-conditioner-ceiling-assembly-p-29025.html
My EU3000is setup mounted. I mounted it higher to enable easier access to the underside of my rig. It was getting tighter and tighter every year for some reason
Small box on top of the enclosure is for the gas filler/gauge. It has a piano hinge tig welded to the rear side of it. Let me know if you need any closeups etc.

There is an outfit that specializes in making cargo boxes specifically for most portable generators.

And you can get some mounting brackets that you do not have to drill into the frame. They are a little pricey though.

Nice job left....those boxes from hayes are about a grand....around how much did you spend on that and do you have enough ventelation, did you get the auto start feauture?

I've got an APU but would have considered a rooftop unit but my truck does not have a flat-top for mounting. If I'm not mistaken though, somebody makes a vertical mount unit?
I love those Honda generators. The ones I've been around are VERY VERY quiet.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Always heard Hondas were one of the best, most reliable.

Call Pat at Nashville Coach, he builds tour buses and can help you with the units you need and can help install them. 615-425-2410
nonsense007 and Starline Thank this. -
Rear and interior views. I'm pretty sure the PO had it removed for the winter and reinstalled it before I bought it, because it shook out a bunch of sawdust the first 200 miles I drove it, and it was only present off and on in the POs photo albums.

been thinking about doing this thanks for the info

I had one on my '98 KW... they work good. Tens of thousands of RV's have used them for 30 years....
Now I'm thinking of a 7K btu portable home a/c unit that vents out the window and using a Honda or Yamaha generator. you can buy the a/c for under $200.00 on fleabay and the generators are $850 to $950....
