Catching up on my reading and found this to be funny as heck. At least no one got hurt. I did something similar but was for a traffic light in Marshall, TX. I found out they change really really fast, plus they take your picture for not stopping and I am camera shy.
At least Remedy had good since of humor about it.
Rookie mistakes!!

sorry i most be slow i dont get it .
did she slam break ? -
Saw an FFE truck rolling down I495 in Boston this morning... freshly mashed upper right front trailer corner. Bet that won't go over well!
On red lights... hit the brakes no matter what. If you can't stop, at least you tried. Had a heart-to-heart with a Texas deputy about that a few years ago - he was a driver too, so probably why I got away with no ticket for anything important.
Blowing through a red light is one of the ways to get in a really nasty accident - usually fatal for the 4-wheeler. It's much better to end up stopped in the intersection than to go on through. Try to anticipate those red lights... I know its a pain, but slowing down for a stale one is what you need to do. So here's some incentive: the fines are usually well over $1000 for running a red light for a CMV driver. You'll be spending some time in the terminal after one of those too... Smith System again, and a chat with Mr. Safety - that's not a pleasant chat by all reports. -
what i do i scan for those red light's, then i see one green, i scan for the walking sign too start too flash, about 12-15 it will go yellow , but i started too slow anyway, yes i remember my first scare, middle of the night, caught glimpse of a bridge sign , doing about 65 mph , bridge sign said 11'9 , i said a few choice word's hit the brake's , bad move on my part, the bridge was coming fast at 100 feet too go, i blew right thru that old iron bridge , with no problem, got too other side and said wtf, walked back across it , look down there was secondary road down there with the low bridge, when they built the new roadway back then, they forgot too take down the old sign, i was wide awake the rest of the night drive.
