I went to a school called United Truck Driving in Fresno, CA......Yes, I would go there again, but this time i will have a little more overstanding. Honestly, different ppl tell me different opinions about companies....Ive heard this, Ive heard that, so basically, I came to the conclusion that I am going to have to get my feet wet and my hands dirty to start my own opinion book of MY career. Everyones likes, dislikes, habits and opinions are different due to their lifestyle, so im going to take the good with the bad and start TRUCKIN', lol

Your profile says student. Are you still with a trainer? Just curious. I have to ride with my trainer for @13 days then train with supervision in my own truck OTR for @12 more weeks.

That is who I have my app in with right now. I was going to go through drivers solutions with PAM Transport but I don't really care for the Internationals or Volvo's and the Idea of Teaming with someone I don't know real well for a year kinda scares me. Honestly I think I would enjoy solo better that way I can take the wife or friends with here and there.

I used to think it would be nice to take someone along with me that didn't drive, until I did. If you want to take the wife and kids I would wait until I got my own truck and had control over where I went before I do it again.

Be sure to take some sort of water jug to the orientation and sun screen. During the 2nd week you will probably be out in the practice yard. No shade anywhere, it is going to be hot as hell! The only real option you will have for lunch while out on the range is going to be the farmer boy burger joint about a half mile away.
