@sweetie....thank you for the input....im have to see bout investing in the bluetooth
one question that i do have and anyone can chime in.....i know this guy who got into henderson, he was a rookie as well, got a trainer and they ran like a team, meaning, he really wasnt trained by the trainer...the trainer saw he was ok at driving and went to sleep, left him driving by himself. but he was supposed to be training him....what is that about? do companies do that? run a trainer and trainee like a team without the trainee having any experience???? -
You should upgrade yourself since your not a student anymore
What company are you starting with? I know we have a drop yard in Fontana also but no training there.
Shyne_E_Star Thanks this. -

My 1 year goal is to get my CDL with Roehl at their RDTC training center in Marshfield WI then drive reefer for them 7on 7 off for my first year. I may switch to flatbed after a few months but we'll see. After that I am not sure. I want part time work for something to do long term. I love to drive and real estate has been good to me. I will stay an agent. IF you or anyone you know needs to buy or sell real estate I am your man. I am even thinking of a new name for my posts and handle etc. Please feel free to pick names.. I thought of AgentTrucker or smokinbolesNOTbowlsagenttrucker LOL

You can go under profile and change from student to 0-1.

I hope to be going to Fontana a few times a year at least. I was told that the drivers on 7/7 tend to get long runs and 2500-3000 miles in the 7 they are on. I was told expect all 48 as well including Canada.

welcome to the forum and to the world of trucking.i am excited for you because you will get to see that states such as alabama and georgia,or the entire southeast for that matter, are indeed very friendly states and just because we do things differently than california does not mean that we are backwards.quite the opposite actually.
if you have a trainer,do as they say just to get you to solo.everything they espouse is not necessarily how things really are or how trucking truly is.it is merely their personal interpretation.you'll learn that fact upon progressing to running by yourself and you will adjust accordingly.
you'll do well as judged by your posts.kudos-Shyne_E_Star Thanks this. -
so u sell houses too? awesome! i want 1 lol...well when i save money for one lol....and u seem to have your goals mapped out, just dont lose track....lol and for sure, i will think of names lmao!!!!!!
