I received my real estate license in 2001 and love it. Pays the bills and I can work by email or phone mostly. I am on a team which makes it possible for me to be gone so much.

CRE requires the phase 1 trainer be in the passenger seat while not on the interstates. Anytime you have to or need to stop you are going to have to wake up your trainer before taking any off ramp. Lay on the air horn if they don't respond to yelling at them. Yes you will be running team freight. Don't care what promises the recruiter tells you. The best way to judge it would be to ask the trainer what is his average miles wi a student. 3000 a week is solo runs. 5000 a week can be tough on students. 6000 a week will be some hard running. You won't have to worry about using a Bluetooth or having one for that matter during phase 1. You will not be allowed to use your phone while driving anyway. Some trainers go as far as keeping the radio and cb off as well.

@x#1...thank you and greetings!! :) yes, that is what i have been saying, that ultimately, i am going to have to create my own opinions by experiencing this myself. And true, I have been to the south eastern states to drop a load in arcadia, FL...and had to go to Miami to pick up a load to bring it back to California. I just went to get the feel of it. For the most part, i loved it, i got to meet a lot of great ppl, matter fact, some that i still keep in contact with. a lot of truckers with stories, both bad and good....one trucker told me.."when u think u know it all, u dont" and he has been driving for 26 years...so i remember his words clearly...always stay humble.

One thing that i do remember when i went over there was when we were on our way back, in mississippi, i beleive, a trucker got on the cb and started calling this african american gentleman a n1gg3r....wow!!! i was thrown off!! being in california for most of my life, i have NEVER seen a person say that to another person like that. Very disrespectful. and these are grown men who might have kids....then their kids are raised that way and so fourth.

it is what it is, u know? Im a woman, and im mexican, so i can already imagine what im going to go through!! :)

You can buy for $50 a square foot for a house that needs work but overall good condition suburban neighborhoods. Just showed a few today. $100 a square foot would be like NEW with granite and newer everything.

The cb is like the Internet for a driver. Just like online there are people who say things here that that they never would in public. Radio Rambo will talk a big game and hide in their truck. That isn't the worst thing you are going to hear on the CB. Unless I was asking about traffic or at a drop my cb was usually off.

@wanderingaimlessly....oh i see.....ok so basically, while on the freeway, i can drive and the trainer can either sit in the passenger or sleep?? I hope i get a decent trainer, i for sure will be introducing myself when i get to orientation to conversate with them. wow, all these factors is overwhelming lol, and i havent gotten to fontana yet, lmao! :)

and as far as the miles they run when training, the fact that we learning doesnt matter? well, actually, in my past jobs, i get thrown to the dogs without training and i pick it up faster. i guess it depends on who u are. im going to have to do some deep investigation, yes and far as recruiters, i already know they are sharks lol

they are certainly less expensive in alabama, missip,ga., and our cost of living is less overall as well.yes i am biased regarding the southeast.besides, i'd be a bit hesitant to live in a "cheap" home so let's reference it as a more cost effective means to propel you towards home ownership.HA!
