I unfortunately don't eat healthy lol. However I do walk at the end of the day and sometimes in the morning. I try and walk for at least 30 minutes at least once a day. I have a refrigerator in my truck and used to make sandwiches but eating the same stuff gets old for me. However I do buy a lot of fruit and make fruit salads a lot. :D fruit is probably the only healthy thing I eat.

That's one of the reasons you will do well your first year. You are taking the time to learn what you can here and have the right "can do it" attitude that some just don't have going into this. I talked to several people about why they are going into trucking and one guy said because my wife said so and another said because the government is going to pay for my CDL and it's easy money driving a truck home every night and I'll make $60,000 my first year. He just posted that he can't drive now because he passed his CDL but failed his drug test at his first company that hired him.

@certifiedsweetie..... True, i can imagine that eating the same thing gets boring and tiring, and fruit is yummy....i cant wait to get my training out the way so i can be in my own truck, that way i can run my own program as far as the refrigerator and eating goes. When u do get the chance to go walking, is that when u are at a truck stop?

@smokinboles....you my friend, have the right attitude as well.......and true, some people going into trucking for the wrong reasons. From what i hear and see, it is a tough lifestyle, "many will come, but only few are chosen".....i know im not officially a trucker yet, but at least i did spend 2 weeks in a truck driving across the country to take a peak of what is to come, and from the taste i got, i loved it and want it.

    FRESH FRUIT HERE!!!

    http://koolatrononline.stores.yahoo.net/koolatron-p27-voyager.html

This is a basic unit but I hope to have an APU and run an inverter so I can buy a regular dorm fridge for my truck etc...

I am going to try to eat out only 3 times a week. There are some really good posts on here about cooking on the road etc.
