Up here in the Yukon all the locals are still like the old way of trucking we all wave at each other, I travel to Alberta and there are less waves, still some good people there though.
I may be young but I was trained by many of the old truck drivers up here and they taught me the old ways and for that I appreciate because it makes me a better driver and gains me way more respect on the road by being polite to the other drivers.
Let us not forget the wave we give to each other is a sign of respect towards each other.Trucking_mom_mom Thanks this. -

Well, then that's the wrong finger.

Yes, and a wave is like a smile. Contagious.
It's acknowledging each other.
We're all in this together.
I'm fine, you're fine, and all is well.
(But I must admit, I've never been saluted.)

You'd LOVE to see the 'old ways come back around'.....sit tight Cowboy......time has a way of healing things, I have a feeling the 'new ' ways will bring everything full circle again.

well don't know if I did this right but here goes.
mack, why would you respond with something negative like that?
I've read alot of eckz stuff goin thru TMC threads, he always, ALWAYS posts in a positive manner. seems like an outstanding person. Why would you throw that negative, smart ##* response like that at him? Especially in that thread.
From what I've read in this forum from you I don't get it? You seemed decent too. Well maybe I'm havin a bad hair day(even tho I don't have much hair left) and just took that statement wrong.

What's up with that? Isn't that what they're talkin about here, that kind of BS attitude!

Hey Mooch,
Got into this business with my own authority (not a driver) since I was tired of waiting for. I want to pay out 85% of loads and deduct insurance payments from the o/o weekly settlements and he/she is responsible for their fuel. Am I unreasonable? If so, what is reasonable?
