The Petro at 10 & 410?
Edit: You're talking about the Chevron Truck Stop. I think its been all rebuilt now.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Really? This must be a new thing. Or maybe I've been doing it wrong the past 12 years.
When my truck is in reverse my hazards are on the entire time.Cattleman84, Lepton1, QuietStorm and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well I doubt you rookie around trying to park in a spot for 10+ min, then give up, drive around, try a different spot, give up and try yet another spot. All the while, hazards flashing away.

This place, Chevron truck stop. Google Maps
Worst shower ever. It was like a dirty cleaning closet with a shower head, everything was brown and it wasn't paint.. You have to see it at least once, bucket list!
Jokers banging on you window in the night wanting a "parking fee". Watch them wander over back to the motel after you say no....
Need to wait for the shower because someone is inside smoking crack, -
Thats cuz they are a hazard. I mean, we are hazards. Them and me. The 4-ways are appropriate anyway you look at it. That anyone thats just tired or whatever will see this n00b is fixin to go in reverse. Watch out.Just passing by and QuietStorm Thank this.

I was thinking more on the lines of " Kyle Busch" where it's ok to push and shunt everyone else off the race track however whine like a big weeny whiny baby when someone does it back to him.x1Heavy and Maj. Jackhole Thank this.

If that used to be the petro, it does not match what I recall. Nothing around it anyway excepting that sharp corner.
Im thinking that's NOT the petro. The one I recall is right along I-10 and if you walked say two miles east there is should be a super 8 hotel with 4 stories. -
Apparently some people dont know and get right up on top of you with there lights on while ur trying to back into a spot... So yeah i use my 4 ways too.Just passing by, JonJon78, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this.

Right, I'd get out and give the guy a second set of eyes when it happens.
I know the new way of operating in the truck stop is fly through in 6th gear, never mind the guy backing up fly behind him, park at the fuel island for a hour, and leave my headlights on during my 10.
It's all about me, me, and me.
