first annoying thing with Landstar so far .....
an overnight CService lady Tina wondering why we are not making it to the receiver "on time" last night
We had to wait 2 1/2 days for Czarinna to finally complete some gmc tradeshow displays. The tradeshow started today in Tampa at noon. I kept telling everyone that this was a problem. We were supposed to pick up on Monday at 8am to deliver on Wednesday at 8am. We didn't get loaded until Wednesday at 1730, so we were not going to get it here on Friday morning at 8am. I hope they were able to set up some of our stuff after we unloaded at 1100 this morning.

For some reason some people thought that we were supposed to make up for the late shipment. We had no problems and got it here before we thought we would. :)

Anyone catch the safety call on Thursday?
I like the idea of the waiver for Cali, I don't go often but I do make some good money when I go!
Need to check your med/DOT physical and the DMV, didn't know they could just pull your CDL and make you go requalify, sounds more like there trying to make money off of us

For all of us that have trucks older than 06 they said we will be able to get an annual waiver for either 1,000 or 5,000 miles a year for limited use in cali

They get mad at me, I have my own trailer and make them put them on backwards, they are not paying me to advertise for them!

This is what Im saying, 5 thousand miles would be more than enough for a year in cali. 1,000 miles is only worth one trip, you figure its 300 miles from Kingman to the port area and back out you killed 600 miles on one trip
