I’m still trying to perfect the round about, going around and exiting without clipping somewhat of the curb, I’m figuring out I gotta take bout lanes by swinging wide and I’ll be good

    Cattleman84 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Takes 2 lanes as you go around.

I like to go around two or three times before I exit.
By the way most have that soft curb and its perfectly legal to roll on it.

Take the whole thing. All of it.

Be very careful here. Always someone stupid trying to sneak by fixing to be squashed when you do come out of that circle.

If it's a double lane roundabout I make sure to take up both lanes so I can inconvenience anyone that might be behind me. I make it a point to run over the roundabouts with a single lane. To me,roundabouts are like stupid people. The world would be better off without them.

    Just be careful..

I've seen the aftermath of a flatbadder who went around too quickly and lost his load.

Go through one 12 times a day... As you approach hit the 4 ways and take both lanes as you are approaching. I.E. the center of the truck is over the lane markings.
Go strait out and as soon as the tandems will clear cut over to the right and hug the right curb. Encroach on lanes that are entering the circle if needed too.

Dunno where you are, but traffic circles in the US suck. Not because drivers don't know them, although there is a bit to that. It's because compared to circles in other countries they are tiny and not enough room to actually maneuver.

Need to block both lanes early, or you'll have a 4 wheeler try and sneak around and you will be the one hitting him. If they still try and slip around simply stop and let them get out of the way. It's better to block traffic for a few seconds than hit a stupid 4 wheeler.

Here you go. Now our goofy and senseless circles will seem easy

I think I’m going to be ill. Can you imagine getting a dumb trucker, an irate trucker, and a tired trucker into that circle at the same time?
