LOL, just the opposite for me conquest, I paid the toll between Breezewood & New Stanton out of my pocket ($43.70 now but MUCH less then (in the 1990's). I regularly hauled 45,000 of beer from Baltimore & Lousiville, KY in a 13 letter sh*tspreader cabover with a castrated Detroit engine and NO jake break. It only took a couple of trips for me to start looking for another route. I told the dumb azzs I drove for it was only 15 miles further to run PA Tpk, I 70, I 71 to Lousiville instead of I 68, I 79, I 64. But they balked at paying the toll so I ran the tpk and paid the toll from my money, well worth it in my book!! IIRC I deadheaded eastbound across I 68 and had to downshift going up some of those hills empty in that pos truck.

We run I 68 over to baltimore all the time and I dont have a problem with it. If I can stay away from any road it would be HWY 6 across indiana and ohio, alot of stop and go and small towns. We also take this all the time to avoid the toll road so im used to it but if i had my choice i would take hwy 30.
