While using Hammer for guidance from Bloomfield CT to Milford CT it correctly suggested I follow I-91 South from Bloomfield, down through Hartford & Rocky Hill then when coming up to the route 9 interchange there was a small error. Hammer suggested I "Keep right to get on CT-9" this is misleading as Rt-9 is to the left but would be the wrong direction. The best choice is stay on I-91 S to I-95 in New Haven. Still a fantastic app!
I have to start by saying nothing about the electronic system you’re discussing, but I have to wonder if it has a built-in traffic flow application depending on what it asked you to do after Route 9? there’s major ongoing construction at the top of the hill on southbound 91 just before the 691 bypass. It has consistently backed up to 3-4miles every afternoon nine to your right if you’re going south just very short distance to Route 15 south back to 691 E. and put you on 91 south again only a mile or so out of your way and would avoid all that can’t help but wonder if that’s what you rout app was trying to do just a thought
Nope. The suggested path would have sent me down Rt 9 into Middletown CT which is not ideal in a CMV. The 691 interchange farther down is neverending mess

I've had downright dangerous guidance from hammer. I finally got a gps using my loves points. It's better but sometimes asinine.
