I would try to use your atlas and the 760 when selecting your routes. I use the dezl 760 and also need to comply with the Roehl Routing. In this instance here, the Dezl will most likely route you right through downtown chicago on I90East and then out 94 to the skyway. Roehl has never routed it that way nor have I ever taken that path. I've had a number of instances with that garmin where the Roehl route was not only more cost effective for the company but also much more efficient for me in my opinion as a company driver. There is a lot of good highway out there that is nice and easy and more efficient to drive that the Dezl just never seems to want to put me on. I've got about 150k national now and I'm still getting put on highways and roads that i have never seen in my life. Lol a lot of people whine about the company route but often it works out better for the driver and company.

twin citys to grand rapids, 94 to 90/94 merge at Tomah, 94 will split away on the south side Madison,wi. stay on 90. into IL. south side of Rockford il. 90 and 39 will split, stay on 39 to rochell, il. and take 88 toll east to i294 south twords Indiana, to i80 east, IN. mm17 get away from the the right lane and stay to the left for i94. into MI. at 32 mm right lane for i196 north/east to grand rapids, take it from there. ive run this many times, if you stay on 94 the whole way u not only have Chicago but Milwaukee as well.

I just went thru Chicago a week ago Wed. at about 8 pm by car from Wisconsin to Michigan. Traffic went smoothly, no big tie-ups. Of course, real construction season hadnt started. Hate those tollbooths since I always have to get way over to pay cash.

I took 94/294/94 to avoid downtown Chicago traffic, worth the tolls. As long ss you're goung after 8 pm then even 90/290/294/94 should be OK. Morning rush hour would be a bear. For Grand Rapids I take 131N from 94, exit 70 or 72 in MI, i forget which.
