RSB Logistic - Running Log ( O/O & CO )

I have been running with RSB for the past 4 months and wanted to get a good feel for the company before I posted any information on them here . I run as a Owner Operator and have been running very good . In the first post I will post my current contract numbers and will be posting miles etc also .

Current Contract : 2013/2014

* Note all is loaded and empty paid to the truck

Base $ 1.14. ( increase to $1.16 affer 18 mths)
Fuel $ 0.40 ( this week 1-12-14 )
Hazmat 0.06 ( US ) 0.08 ( cross border canada )
Bonus $ 0.04 ( paid every 6 months all miles )
Plate - Free
Permits Free
Qualcomm - Free
Scales - Free
Tolls - Paid ( EZPass - Free ) OK , FL reimbursed
Border cross $ 30 ( each way )
Faxes - paid
Fuel Card ( Comdata & T- Check ) usually 0.02 off cash price
Flatbed Pay or Chasis - $ 0.10
Tarp Pay ( ? ) I think it's about $100 but not sure ( I don't do Flatbed tarp loads at all
i just do Chasis or containers on Flats ( easy money )
Health Insurance Aval ( united health care )
Layover - $250 after 24hrs $ 300 at a port if delayed
Company Guys :

haz - same as above ( 0.06 & 0.08
bonus - same as above ( 0.04 )
Flat bed - 0.05
Border cross ( $20)
2011 or Newer ( KW , PTRBLT, )

Layover $ 200 ( not 100% sure )


Miles Paid PC Practical ( most cases I get paid more than I run seldom short any miles at all

I pull mainly VAN myself . But they offer Van , Flat and have Chasis work also which pays Flatbed rate.

I go all 48 and normally stay out 2 week to 3 some stay out longer they are really good about home time

 

I guess I started my experience at a bad time
after I delivered today . I am on reset only had around 3.0 left on 70.

Will get get back to updating when reset is over , until then I'm doing a little house cleaning and laundry

 

They are based in Canada with US Owner Operators and Company drivers . There are about 20 or so of us US drivers and about 30 or so Canadian drivers very solid company . Yes the miles are definetly there for sure a mild week is around 2500 a avg week is around 2900-3200

I think Company guys are on Bi- Weekly pay ( every 2 weeks )
Owner Operators ( like myself ) if it's turned in by 2pm Monday your paid by Friday same week

 

No they run FL some and in and out of Baltimore , Richmond , SC & NC and some GA and TX
