James Comey would have called it a "matter".

I'm so glad my company has an in house body and paint guy... And he is GOOD. Most of our small things such as what the OP descibe get handled in house and never see insurance. I think we have even handled repairs to other companies equipment in house a time or 2... If they were local to us.

Well they probably didn’t like that you punched a hole in the side of their trailer. So I guess you guys are even?

When you hit something with the truck it is an accident. When it happens you fill an accident report. Will it made you feel better if they called it “Driver hit a tree and made a hole in the trailer report”
People are so sensitive these days. Grow some balls.

If u were anything like the drivers that work for the company i work for they wouldve just dropped it in the lot and let the next guy deal with it... Good on u for bein honest hopefully ur bossess recognize that and take it easy on u

There was no hole punched. It was the rubbing off of some cheap aluminum.

Its an attitude like that that allows truckers to he treated like pieces of dog crap in the industry. We go out and turn the company a very nice profit from our time and labor, and in return they pay us depressed wages and have us fill out forms that can damage our career.

The way I see it is if theres tickets and police reports issued, then by all means the driver is open to having to fill out company paperwork. Otherwise, they can take their 'accident' report and stick it. Same with you and your post.

Dude, not to bash you but this is exactly why drivers get treated like they do.

Your a commodity at this point until you offer more than driving, it will remain that way.
