Here is the post a little more readable. God, I hate to sound like the grammar police, but English is my second (or maybe third, depending how you look at it) language, and I don't get how some people even graduate from elementary school without the most basic knowledge on how to write anything.

OH....you don't have to abbreviate everything, this is not like texting or using the qualcomm where you get charged by the character. It is perfectly all right to spell everything out.

I guess.....I just don't get that either, the unwillingness to learn the language of the country you reside in. That does not mean you have to forget where you come from, but at least try to communicate in English. I use every chance I get to speak German, can't forget how to do that, my parents would disown me. But I work VERY hard at being fluent in English and always try to learn new words.

It is one of my hugest pet peeves, that certain segments of the population are catered to, making everything available in "their" language, to the point, that I, being bi, trilingual can't get a job in certain areas, because being fluent in German and somewhat in French is not the bilingual we are looking for.

Newsflash: bilingual means to be fluent in two languages, not being fluent in English and Spanish.

I came from a foreign country, and I was capable of learning English. Why can't others? And why does the big and mighty US bow to every special interest group on the planet instead of what doing what the majority decides.

Ok, enough of my ravings, thank you for patiently listening.

Ever, Trucking companies can and do put bad information on your dac because they can get away with it, they dont care if you ever get another driving job, and if you did something they didnt like, or just didnt like you they will put wrong misleading information on your dac. you can dispute this thru the usis or hireright, by going to USIS.com and then to to consumer information, order your paperwork, fill it out then return it, or you can do to dacfix which is a sponsor here and have them help, it does cost for dac fix just so you know. Good luck to you.

OR you can be a professional, Do your job like you know it should be done. And shoulder the blame for your own mistakes. I know this is a foreign concept to this new breed of driver. But stepping up and being a man works.

Think she meant ANY 2 languages, not just english and spanish. :biggrin_25520:

I had a few prospective employers ask about my job history, 4 jobs in 3 years. I simply explained to them about having a son, needing more money and decent benefits, and how I valued my time too much to work for next to nothing or for a company that didn't value me or my future as much as I did. It seemed to placate them. It doesn't look as good as being at the same job all your life, but there are acceptable reasons for having multiple jobs recently, especially in our industry.
