Simple. If it were me, I'd back up to the dock, whereupon they'll either fix it or I'm grabbing a pallet jack and yanking one pallet off, and THEN run the load.
DDlighttruck and RedRover Thank this. -
Good luck getting the T-call done in Jurupa Valley. I strongly recommend you start calling your DM Monday morning to start arranging that. Often I was able to T-call a load, but the planners like to leave some "miles on the bone" and may want you to T-call the load farther away.Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -

I'll get the load off of me one way or another. Either the company will take it off of me, I'll arrange delivery with the consignee myself ahead of schedule, or I'll go see my son and leave their beer sitting at the terminal.Knucklehead and Lepton1 Thank this. -
I was based out of Jurupa Valley when I was with Swift. I have nothing but good things to say about the DM's and management in that terminal.
I made a habit of giving a generous tip to the good folks in the truck wash there. I can't recall any other terminal that did hand wash. Hard working team there.Moosetek13 and RedRover Thank this. -
I'm just curious why anyone would run any load that doesn't conform to the laws?
Why is this even a question?
