Runaway engine burns Peterbilt to the ground

    That's what you want to happen when they runaway so you can walk away from the headache of truck ownership with an insurance check. Unfortunately for me when mine did that it didn't burn to the ground lol

    They don't quit until there's only about a half a gallon of oil circulating in there. They can take the abuse and keep going. It takes a while to burn 10+ gallons of oil lol. I bet 100$ this shop let that one burn down. I panicked when it happened to me and kind of lost it there because I've never had anything catastrophic before that. Now if it happened I'd just put it in high gear and pop the clutch to kill the engine. A buddy of mine blew a turbo about a month ago and that's what he did when his ran away he remembered what happened to mine and knew what to do when it happened to him.

    Either way it’s nothing but a molten mass of metal now.
