Those of you eastbound and up for Boston and Maine, be prepared for a proper Nor'easter storm cranking up at some point this weekend. Probably 24 inches of snow delivered the hard way on the coast say from Cape Cod on up. Long Island will be a howler.

Yea when the wind advisory is up in Wyoming, which is pretty much 365 days per year, all high profile vehicles without at least 30k in the box are to shut down. That's 30k in freight on top of your tare weight.

I wouldn't chance it with less than grossed out weight. It's pretty dicey even then.

I am convinced there are serious problems with Wyoming now. In my time prior to 2001 wyoming could be depended on to have good drivers who proved themselves before being sent up here. Actually Fort Bridge IS one of my nightmares on ice when I sleep. I even have some to this day. Ice is no problem but Fort Bridger has this special hill that has my name on it during ice.

All of these threads indicated to me that fleets are just allowing newbie slub to drive (No offense) into Wyoming without regard, extra training or in some case not enough knowlege of precision english which is required for trucking since Genesis etc.

Nothing but waste, problems etc. What is going on?!

I was smart enough to know I was going to Wyoming in the winter. I'd been snowboarding in the back country there a few times. But I flew in. I wasn't prepared for that wind. Got a load from Golden, Co to SLC and just followed their routing up 25 and down 80. Woke up to a guy two trucks down from me in Wamsutter thrown on its side.

At the truck stop, between two other trucks. CR England was parked in the median jackknife and a Prime reefer fully loaded with kegs of beer was thrown from the mega carrier lane heading east into the westbound hammer lane.

Weather report only called for 30mph. It's the gusts that are the real issue lol

Sir I must caution you if you have no or little experiene with our Nor'Easter it is essentially a winter hurricane when a Low pressure currently over my head here in Arkansas moves through Georgia and off shore at Savannah. There one of the three winter storms coming to you right now will meet this low off Georgia. Before the end of money it's going to be below 1000 millibars approaching around 982 millibars by the time it hits maine give or take 5 to 10 millibars possibly dipping into the 970's It will be very intense same as a hurricane.

Feed snow into the northwest side of this Nor'Easter with a Dominant High near or over Ontario moving east and north leaves the Noreaster able to feast on the stuff. BOOM 2 feet of snow in Cape Cod Boom blast of ice boom boom and boom.

Complicating and feeding the Noreaster is storm number three. That one is coming our way as I speak tonight. Then converts to a very classic ice storm sitaution all along the enitre border with Tennessee to MS, AL, GA and also fayetteville to Fort Bragg everyone above this ice strip is snow, everyone below is the rain and moisture. All of that gets fed into the new Nor'easter really quick and by the time that thing gets off Ocean City which is the Chesapake Bay It's going to go BOOM. Explode.

Im actually looking forward to a mini sandy here,. This thing is going to be awesome. Not so much if you have to be out that way by the Atantic this weekend into next eek. I hope you gots your oilskins ready to do battle with greyboeards on the bridge and greenwater covering the for'cs'tle and your paint locker secured for sea.
