Any friend of yours is a friend of mine.

Guess what I did today? I had a load to pick up in a subdivision. Naturally, the truck would not fit, so I got a brilliant idea. I think this qualifies me as rookie of the year...

I decided to park in the church parking lot across the street. I forgot how low the trailer is, and the driveway was oh so steep. Yep, you guessed it, I got my trailer stuck. The rear wheels off the ground kind of stuck. That was fun I tell you.

Look on the bright side...at least it wasn't a train track that you got stuck on. :biggrin_2552:

That might be a good thing, if it happened, as the boss still has not sold the POS truck yet.:biggrin_25516:

I have overlift, but have still been stuck twice. Once I called a tow truck, the other time, I took the 3500 ford diesel off of the back top, and had the girlfriend pull me out in 4wd LOW. That ford pulled it out of the mud puddle like a champ.

I had to jack up one side of the trailer, then lower the wheels onto a couple of 2x8, then jack up the other side of the trailer, and drive off the jack. Repeat x2. And yes, I shaved off some asphalt, and left many deep cuts in the road. I am going to prison and hell, for tearing up a public roadway as well as a church parking lot.
