Maybe I should "break down" in the far left lane on I-75. Not that we are allowed in that lane, but what the heck. I guess the only bad part would be crossing the highway.

Or I could leave the truck running and unlocked, while I get something to eat in the ghetto for an hour or so.

What if I forgot my logbook at home? I know that I would be OOS for 10 hours, but would I get a fine?

I understand the safety concerns you may have, but read over some of your post!!
Do you sound like a driver you would hire? Take the mans equipment back to him and find a job you can do safley.

I am not even reading all this or all the post so bear with me if it's already been said!

I don't care what kind of proof you have showing you was told to run illegal etc.. you should not run illegal for anyone! You refuse that load! Why would any driver/anyone want to kill somone first and then find who is at fault? NO... NO...NO... It's your responsibility to run legal also.
If anyone fires you over not wanting to run illegal, have your documentation and report it to DOT....

It is just as much the drivers responsibily to run legal as the company is held to run you legal.

    Good night all!

The DOT won't give a crap. I have no proof my boss is doing this. I need a job, so I will just have to deal with it. And by the way, I do "log it legal".
My logbbok is always "legal" anytime I drive. I fix it as I go.

Logs, if you want to offer me a job running legally, I will gladly accept it. Until then, I have to support my family.
